Founder
I help institutions of higher education, libraries, non-profits, and arts organizations grow the inner capacities their outer roles quietly demand.
My story
I’m the founder of Inner Roots, a seasoned leader guiding institutions of higher education, libraries, non-profits, and arts organizations through change, helping teams align strategy, learning, and technology with their deepest community-centered values.
I help mission-driven institutions stop trying to engineer their way through complexity and learn to grow through it instead — from the roots. Drawing on complexity science and ecological wisdom, I work alongside leaders and organizations to develop the inner capacities that lasting outer change is grown from, never installed.
Rooted leadership
Building organizations that can weather complexity.
My approach helps organizations build resilient ecosystems of people, processes, and partnerships — ones that hold together through disruption while staying rooted in their mission, learning, and long-term stewardship.
Resilient ecosystems
People, processes, and partnerships that reinforce one another.
Rooted in mission
Change that deepens purpose rather than drifting from it.
Built to last
Learning and stewardship that carry an organization for the long term.
Who I work with
Mission-driven institutions, in moments of change.

The best first step is a conversation — no agenda, just a chance to see what you’re carrying and how I can help.
